Almost 40 years ago, the creator of the Star Wars saga George Lucas imagined and masterfully depicted an upside down reality, in which the entire solar system was illuminated by two suns. In 2012, the Nasa space telescope Kepler discovered the existence of planets with two suns and confirmed his forward-looking vision. Tusan (Italian pronunciation for “Two suns”), is one of these planets, a world in a post-apocaliptyc era where two suns shine and no shadows nor darkness exist. Humans on Tusan live peacefully and know no evil, but everything changes when an eclipse obscures one of the suns, casting shadows for the first time. These shadows are no ordinary ones though: they will come to life and start a revolt against humans, trying to steal the remaining sun in order to stay alive and gain the supreme power. Thanks to spectacular light effects, video mapping and captivating choreographies, the audience will take part in a story about mankind and his demons, an epic battle between good and evil.
Tusan is a hip-hop and street dance-related show that will give the audience 80 minutes of entertainment with breaking, locking, popping, house dance, hip-hop and other street-related disciplines like freestyle football. The twelve performers on stage are all from different artistic backgrounds and members of Italian well-known crews such as Allstyle Crew, Superelastic and Da Move.
